The project objectives are study and design of irrigation system, partial water transmission to Darunte dam Lake and Study and Design of Gambiri Power Plant. Water resources are Konar River, Gross irrigation network area is 30’000 ha, and Irrigation network type is Surface type. Crop patterns are Cereals, olive, maize with water gross demand 23000 m3/year/ha Total canal length is 130km with Main Canal capacity 100 m3/sec and Total length of drain is 70 km.

Dam Height: 10.5 m
Hydropower capacity in feasibility study: 52 megawatt
Hydropower capacity in extension plan: 68 megawatt

Project objectives:
in the 1st stage Study, of irrigation and drainage network, meteorological, hydrological, agricultural, social, environmental, petrology studies have been done. The design basis was specified and the transmission line has been located and the drawings and technical reports have been submitted. In the 2nd stage of studies, surveying and geotechnical explorations as well as seismic studies are done. / In the feasibility Study, of irrigation and drainage network, meteorological, hydrological, agricultural, social, environmental, petrology studies have been done.
