Project details:

Opening Project with the President of Armenia, begin construction of the access road to project site, equipping partial of site and executing of Geotechnical studies (field and lab.) Detail design of Dam. Excavation of foundation, Peripheral hydraulic structures and spillway Purpose of project is Irrigation, Earth fill dam with 85-meter height from foundation and 29.4 MCM Volume of Reservoir and Dam crest length of 495 m.

Project objectives:

Contract with the client, receive 50% of the contract cost as prepayment, Opening Projects in the presence of the Armenia President, beginning construction of access road to the site, equipping part of site and geotechnical excavation is done. Design of hydraulic structures including spillway, bottom outlet, irrigation intake and transmission line are finalized and approved. Structural design of the structures has also been carried out. The main dam earth body and dyke design has been completed and approved. Consolidation grouting operation under the dam clay body is currently ongoing. Part of the Calvert diversion system culvert and spillway construction is also done. D&B Project, Detailed design has been prepared by Toossab consultant engineer Co. and approved by employer consultant (ARTELIA CO.) and executed by employer contractor (SAHAKYAN SHIN Co.).
