State Of Environment Report (SOE) is a quantitative-qualitative description with analysis of the environmental conditions of a particular region (city, province or country) in terms of water quality, soil and air, ecosystem and biodiversity, land use, human and economic parameters. Therefore, the description of actions and the general process for preparing the report is as follows: Part 1: Preparation and acquisition of information, basic data and maps, review and preparation and collection of quantitative reliable information about the state of the urban environment. Part 2: Defining environmental indicators, extracting them from basic information sources or measuring some indicators and criteria. Part 3: Zoning of different indicators and preparation of zoning map. Section 4: Analysis of indicators and their evaluation in Isfahan, evaluation of environmental sustainability in urban areas of Isfahan Section 5: Management analysis, presentation of solutions and actions based on DPSIR model Section 6: Compilation and summary of the report on the environmental status of Isfahan

Project objectives:

Objectives for preparing environmental status reports - Increasing understanding and awareness of trends and changes in the state of the environment. - Provide an assessment of the state of the natural environment (soil, climate) and human in consecutive and regular time periods. - Identifying information in order to manage the environment. - Monitoring the effectiveness of policies and measures adopted in previous periods and determining the effectiveness of management activities. - Review the current state of the environment and provide a little reliable information for the community and beneficiary. - Preparing a basis for improvement of decision making in different environmental areas regarding sustainable development
